Hi, my name is Mick Healy and I was on Stafford team from 1972 until1978 when I left the R.A.F. I've been employed as a prison officer for the last 25years at Stoke Heath prison which is opposite what used to be R.A.F. Ternhill but is now an army camp. I havent been on the hill for quite a while as I have a lung problem which tends to restrict some of my activities. Great seeing as how I gave up smoking nearly 20 years ago. Best wishes to anyone who may remember me after all these years. Its ashame we did'nt have this facility years ago.

Mick you old devil. How are you? It's great to hear you are alive and kicking after nearly thirty years since I last saw you. Like me I suppose you have been out of touch with things. It was only four years ago that I found out that there was such an organisation as the RAFMRA. I had tried over the years to make contact with the teams at Stafford, Kinloss and Saints, all to no avail. But thats all over now. I have been to several Stafford and Kinloss reunions and met many of the old troops. It fairly makes the years roll back. I sometimes find it difficult to rember those days, but once you meet a troop and he starts recalling incidents it all come flooding back. I am still living in Wolverhampton, just down the road as it were. We should arrange an evening with a jar sometime. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers the noo,
JimM

Hi, Jim It was good to hear from you, it's been a long time since we met. Considering that we live relatively close to each other it seems such a shame. What are you doing these days- still working I suppose. Having a jar sounds like a great idea, will you be going to the families reunion at Llanberis or to the one at Hope. I am definately going to the family reunion and hopefully to the one at Hope. I work alternate weekends but I hope to be off for the reunion. Anyway hope to see you soon, Yours aye Mick.

A blast from the past. What happened to those young fit lads running around the bogs, eh? At least we are still here. I left the RAF last year and I will be moving up to Grantown-on-Spey next month. I will be coming down with the Scottish contingent for nect yeras reunion. Hope to see you there. Jim Morning

Mick Healy, the name seems to be from the ark. I am Scouse Taylor who married Carol at Stafford in 74. You even loaned us your car after the wedding. Hope this reaches you. We now live in the US but will be in UK Jan-April 07. Give us a phone number.
